📋 Description

• Work alongside experienced fire engineers • Gain hands-on project experience from the first day • Support delivery of fire engineering projects across a wide range of project types • Develop core fire science knowledge, including fire science terminology, flame spread, people movement, and toxicity • Build consultancy skills in presentation, negotiation, time management, and confidence • Participate in structured in-person development sessions with colleagues from UK offices • Collaborate with teams across the business on project delivery • Contribute to research involving fire, people, and structures • Participate in collaborations with universities, industry partners, and government bodies • Support research projects such as modelling fire development in car parks and large-scale fire testing of timber enclosures

🎯 Requirements

• Working towards, or recently completed, a degree in a relevant discipline • Relevant STEM background; fire engineering, civil engineering, mechanical engineering, aeronautical engineering, surveying, or mathematics welcomed • Good foundation in verbal and written communication • Curiosity, motivation, and willingness to apply skills to fire safety • Problem-solving ability and openness to feedback • Enthusiasm for self-development and working towards professional registration • Client-focused approach • Ability to work collaboratively in teams and respect different perspectives • Right to work in the UK; employment offers are conditional upon receiving the relevant right to work • Candidates requiring a Certificate of Sponsorship under a Skilled Worker visa may apply, subject to UKVI approval
