📋 Description
• Work alongside experienced fire engineers • Gain hands-on project experience from the first day • Support project delivery across a wide range of fire engineering projects • Develop technical skills needed to become a trusted and valued fire engineer • Contribute to research advancing understanding of fire, people, and structures • Participate in research collaborations with universities, industry partners, and government bodies • Support work such as modelling fire development in carparks and large-scale fire testing of timber enclosures • Contribute to technical policy, codes, standards, and guidance development • Build client relationships and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams
🎯 Requirements
• Working towards a degree in a relevant discipline • STEM background; relevant disciplines include fire, civil, mechanical, or aeronautical engineering, surveying, and mathematics • Ability to express ideas clearly verbally and in writing • Problem-solving ability and curiosity • Openness to feedback and collaborative development of innovative solutions • Commitment to self-development and enthusiasm for building knowledge and skills • Client-focused approach • Ability to listen to others, respect different perspectives, and contribute to shared goals • Must have the right to work in the UK • Visa sponsorship is not provided
