📋 Description

• Automate code security and repository compliance checks • Improve shared GitHub tooling and Terraform-based configuration • Integrate automated controls into CI/CD pipelines and engineering workflows • Review existing repositories, identify gaps and implement improvements • Produce clear evidence of compliance checks, exceptions and areas requiring manual review • Write maintainable, tested code and technical documentation • Collaborate with engineering and security teams to prioritise improvements and share knowledge

🎯 Requirements

• Active SC security clearance is essential • Strong experience configuring and managing GitHub repository controls and settings • Hands-on experience with Terraform and infrastructure or configuration automation • Experience developing automation to assess technical controls, configurations or compliance requirements • Good understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines and automated testing • Experience maintaining existing codebases, troubleshooting issues and improving engineering tooling • Ability to write production-quality code • Ability to maintain technical documentation • Ability to collaborate with technical stakeholders • Desirable: experience with code security frameworks and security assurance processes • Desirable: experience with policy-as-code or compliance automation • Desirable: public sector or government digital project experience • Desirable: experience working alongside cyber security, data protection or assurance teams
