📋 Description

• Design and define a future service model that balances user needs with organisational objectives. • Map both current and future service journeys, clearly showing how problems are resolved and experiences improved. • Run interviews and workshops with stakeholders to gather insights, test ideas, and build shared understanding. • Collaborate with user researchers to analyse findings, develop problem statements, and identify gaps or opportunities. • Lead co-design activities, turning ideas into concepts for new service journeys and entry points. • Create and iterate prototypes of service models, incorporating feedback from users and colleagues. • Develop and test a proof of concept for entry points, helping users navigate seamlessly to the right service. • Produce a transition roadmap, setting out how current services will evolve into the future model in manageable phases. • Work in partnership with related teams to ensure the service design aligns with wider business and technical direction.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong track record as a Senior Service Designer in large or complex environments. • Confident using service design tools and methods such as journey mapping, service blueprints, prototyping, and co-design workshops. • Comfortable working hand-in-hand with researchers, translating insights into actionable design. • Skilled at running collaborative workshops and engaging with a wide range of stakeholders. • Able to simplify complex problems and communicate ideas clearly through both visuals and narrative. • Experience of working in agile, multidisciplinary teams.
