📋 Description

• Shape next-generation features for the Olo app and bring the post-MVP vision to life • Gather feedback from the growing user base and fix reported bugs • Help plan the app feature roadmap • Provide input on the direction of the iOS and Android codebases • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers • Contribute to technical decision-making • Prioritize and resolve technical debt through refactoring and system improvements • Own complex features and projects from concept to delivery • Lead code reviews and improve code quality • Partner with Product and stakeholders to refine requirements • Deliver reliable, maintainable software with performance optimizations and resilience mechanisms • Monitor and maintain production services and resolve critical issues • Participate in distributed-systems architecture and design • Improve development processes, tooling, and automation • Ensure consistency and quality in shared components and APIs • Lead learning sessions and contribute to the team knowledge base • Use Claude Code in the daily workflow and develop AI coding skills • Own the delivery pipeline, testing standards, and deployment practices • Participate in on-call duties

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience • 5+ years of experience in software engineering, specifically focused on native mobile development • Advanced proficiency in native iOS mobile development using Swift • Experience independently designing and implementing complex algorithms and architectures • Skill in managing and improving CI/CD processes, including tools like GitHub Actions • Experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing practices • Strong emphasis on automation for testing and deployment • Leadership skills including mentoring peers, leading technical discussions, and cross-team collaboration
