📋 Description

• Developing a portfolio of scalable, low-cost financing structures to fund the Company’s residential solar systems. • Identifying and cultivating relationships with potential tax equity, cash equity, and project debt investors that enable a programmatic approach and repeat year-over-year investments. • Structuring and leading project finance transactions from origination to close. • Partnering with accounting and asset management to transition closed deals to the post-execution phase with the Fund Management group. • Managing relationships with our ongoing tax equity partners and identifying follow-on investment opportunities. • Engage in discrete analytical projects to drive business decision-making, and address strategic investment opportunities • Execute corporate modeling and capital planning activities, with the ability and willingness to play multiple roles in capital markets and fundraising activities • Team-management capabilities – ensuring proper delegation, defining roles/responsibilities, maintaining a positive team culture, and providing growth and development opportunities for reporting team members • *Other responsibilities as assigned*

🎯 Requirements

• MBA or equivalent preferred. Bachelor’s degree in finance or similar required. • 3+ years experience in raising equity and debt project capital either with an investment bank, private equity firm, or project developer • Knowledge and experience working with renewable energy companies • Experience with tax structuring, ideally partnership flip and leasing structures • Superior verbal and written communication skills • Ability to build and maintain relationships with executive-level decision-makers • Strong team player: ease of working cross-functionally with Accounting, Sales, Legal, and Asset Management groups • Analytic Skill: The candidate must be able to spot problems quickly and find creative ways to solve them. She/he must be hands-on, data-driven, and detail-oriented, with excellent technical, analytical, and evaluative skills. • Entrepreneurial Drive: High-energy; quick to enable this dynamic organization to capitalize on trends and opportunities. • Communication: Articulate and able to convey important messages and the unvarnished truth clearly and compellingly; an executive presence combined with a high degree of maturity and business judgment. • Integrity: Possess ethics beyond reproach, credibility, and character, with demonstrated moral and ethical behavior. • Peer Group Relationships: Develop deep peer group relationships.
