📋 Description

• Eliminate manual QA dependency and build scalable automated testing • Design and evolve test architecture and tooling that scales across services and teams • Design and implement end-to-end, integration, and API test automation • Own test strategy across services — determine what to test, where to test it, and how to maximize signal while minimizing runtime • Improve CI/CD confidence and release safety while increasing deployment velocity • Reduce regression risk through targeted, high-value test coverage rather than brute-force test expansion • Own test reliability — proactively detect, diagnose, and eliminate flaky or low-signal tests

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience • Strong backend development experience (Ruby, Node.js, or similar) • Solid understanding of REST APIs, service contracts, and software design principles • Experience designing and maintaining automated tests across unit, integration, and end-to-end levels • Familiarity with modern testing frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Cypress) • Experience building and operating services in AWS or similar cloud environments • Willingness to participate in a mandatory 24/7 on-call rotation • Strong interest in AI-powered development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Cursor)
