📋 Description

• Job Title: Payroll Manager for HVAC Group of Companies • Location: Remote (EST - New York time) • Employment Type: Full-time • Reports To: CFO / Controller • About the Role: We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Payroll Manager to oversee and manage payroll operations across multiple companies. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely weekly payroll processing for over 200 employees, including hourly technicians, salaried staff, and commissioned salespeople, using Paychex. The Payroll Manager will also support employee onboarding/offboarding, PTO accruals, and regular updates to compensation records. • Key Responsibilities: Weekly Payroll Processing, System Management & Employee Lifecycle, Compliance & Reporting.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in payroll processing, with at least 1 year in a lead or managerial role. • Proficiency in Paychex or similar payroll software. • Solid understanding of payroll laws, tax regulations, and best practices. • Strong reconciliation skills, particularly with commission-based compensation. • High attention to detail, integrity, and confidentiality. • Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets. • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
