📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain core platform components and infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible). • Build and operate self-service tools and workflows for application deployment, monitoring, logging, and scaling. • Implement and manage containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration platforms. • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines that are efficient, secure, and scalable. • Implement and enforce platform security best practices and integrate security tools into the platform. • Design and implement robust monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions for the platform. • Troubleshoot and resolve platform-related issues, collaborating with development teams as needed. • Contribute to the definition and evolution of our platform architecture and roadmap. • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in platform engineering and cloud-native development. • Work effectively under pressure and balance competing tasks in a rapidly changing environment. • Participate in on-call rotation during day PST hours.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in DevOps, Infrastructure Engineering, or Platform Engineering roles. • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible). • Strong experience with at least one major cloud provider (GCP or AWS preferred). • Strong understanding of operating systems and related ecosystem components (networking, storage, databases, etc.). • Experience with Terraform, Packer, CloudFormation, Ansible, Chef, Helm. • Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, TeamCity, Octopus, Jenkins). • Proficiency in scripting and programming languages (Bash, Python, Go, Perl, Ruby). • Experience designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems. • Containerization experience required; serverless technologies are a plus. • Experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, LogicMonitor, SolarWinds, Datadog). • Strong understanding of security best practices in cloud environments. • Contributions to open-source projects are a plus. • Experience with GitOps principles is preferred. • Strong collaboration, documentation, and knowledge-sharing skills. • Ability to work independently, be resourceful, and seek support when needed. • Proactive mindset, willingness to take ownership, and commitment to continuous self-development.
