📋 Description

• Drive generation services and technologies business to meet or exceed quarterly and annual quota objectives with account teams • Follow Optiv Standardized Sales Operating Processes to achieve consistent success • Understand clients’ security environments, business operations, security needs, and risk appetites • Identify security concerns and correlate them to Optiv strategic solutions and cybersecurity programs • Participate in the Field Center of Excellence and position Optiv services, technology partners, and products • Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities • Qualify leads and partner on scoping, proposal management, and deal closure • Participate in sales opportunities across Optiv’s portfolio • Articulate how Optiv technology and services meet client stakeholder needs • Monitor industry trends and the security landscape to provide thought leadership, analysis, and guidance • Collaborate with service delivery on domain specialty materials and comprehensive solutions • Develop security strategies and roadmaps aligned with business goals, budgets, and ROI metrics • Maintain advisory relationships with client stakeholders and technology partners • Design complete security programs through requirements gathering, technology selection, demonstrations, and evaluations • Partner with internal Optiv teams to align client expectations and ensure service delivery excellence • Share client feedback to support continuous improvement • Participate in account planning, forecasting, pipeline management, proposal processes, contracts, and RFI/RFP responses • Pursue ongoing technical, cybersecurity, certification, and professional development

🎯 Requirements

• BS/BA or equivalent and/or applicable work experience • Minimum five years in an information security role focused on Threat Management, preferably as a consulting advisor, architect, or engineer • Expertise in Application Security Tools, Vulnerability Management, Threat Management/Hunting, Enterprise Incident Management, Forensics/eDiscovery, Threat Intelligence Platforms, and Asset Management • CISSP, CISA, CRISC, CISM, GIAC, or other relevant professional cybersecurity certifications preferred • Experience speaking about and evangelizing technology vision at events • Highly motivated self-starter able to work without day-to-day management • Ability to work in an adaptable, nimble team environment with responsive communication • Thorough understanding of current threat landscape, vulnerabilities, and defensive controls • Strong business and technical acumen, with ability to lead technology-focused discussions • Strong presentation, written, and oral communication skills, including whiteboard sessions • Strong attention to detail when reviewing SOWs, quotes, and client deliverables • Broad security-related knowledge and willingness to expand expertise across portfolio domains • Vendor-specific certification focused primarily on the specialty • Ability to travel around 25% or as needed
