📋 Description

• Lead, coach, and develop a lean team of IT engineers • Set priorities, unblock difficult problems, and handle complex or escalated issues hands-on • Own Okta identity and access management, including lifecycle, integrations, and day-to-day administration • Manage macOS and Apple devices and endpoint tooling across the business • Drive adoption of data, automation, and AI across IT operations • Identify tooling and agents that reduce manual work and improve support • Set and own IT’s operating rhythm, including support tooling, SLAs, and improvement metrics • Manage the IT budget and vendor portfolio • Evaluate spending, negotiate commercial terms, and manage a multi-department SaaS estate • Implement and maintain baseline security and resilience practices, including CIS Benchmarks, patching, and disaster recovery • Partner with the wider Security team on security engineering matters • Translate department needs into IT capabilities and act as the link between IT and the wider business

🎯 Requirements

• Experience leading or managing a technical IT team • Track record of developing people and delivering outcomes • Strong systems administration and infrastructure fundamentals • Comfortable serving as an escalation point for complex issues • Hands-on experience running an IAM platform in production, ideally Okta • Experience with IAM lifecycle automation and integrations • In-depth knowledge of macOS and Apple hardware • Experience managing Apple devices in a corporate or enterprise environment, ideally using Iru or equivalent • Experience using AI, automation, data, or workflows to improve team operations • Experience managing budgets and vendor relationships • Experience evaluating costs, negotiating terms, and optimizing tool or platform usage • Experience running IT projects end-to-end, from scoping through delivery and stakeholder reporting • Understanding of core security and compliance fundamentals • Clear communication with technical and non-technical senior stakeholders • Strong leadership and ability to remain calm under pressure
