• Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to meet and exceed revenue targets within assigned territories. • Establish and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, IT leaders, and procurement officers within state and local agencies. • Understand client needs and challenges, and deliver compelling SaaS solutions that align with their objectives, focusing on the value our platform provides to public sector clients. • Manage a robust sales pipeline from lead generation to close, ensuring timely and accurate forecasting, and reporting on sales activity and progress. • Work closely with internal teams, including Marketing, Product, and Customer Success, to ensure seamless client onboarding and long-term satisfaction. • Navigate the complexities of government procurement processes, including RFPs, RFIs, and contract negotiations, while adhering to regulatory requirements and ethical standards. • Stay informed about industry trends, legislative changes, and competitive landscape to position our solutions effectively.
• 5+ years of relevant experience including but not limited to Quota Attainment, Territory Planning, Prospecting and Pipeline Building, Opportunity Execution, Competing, Negotiating and Closing, Strategic Account Planning with Client Success Managers, Networking and Marketing, Continued Learning and Development, and usage of the various technology tools required to perform job responsibilities. • Prior experience selling to the public sector.
