📋 Description

• Identify and implement front-end and back-end improvements to Shopify websites and landing pages • Run A/B tests, user experience optimizations, and CRO experiments independently • Optimize page speed, mobile responsiveness, and checkout flow performance • Build custom features, sections, and pages using Shopify Liquid and third-party apps • Analyze site metrics, heatmaps, and customer behavior tools to identify improvement opportunities • Collaborate with design, marketing, and product teams on functional, tested, high-performance web solutions • Monitor Shopify platform updates, app ecosystem changes, and eCommerce CRO best practices • Maintain clean, documented code and follow internal development workflows • Track, report, and iterate based on testing and site-improvement results • Audit Shopify setups and implement quick-win improvements • Resolve minor site issues and performance bugs • Refresh conversion-focused landing pages with marketing • Establish an optimization and testing pipeline • Serve as a technical resource for Shopify development and CRO

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on Shopify development experience • Proficiency in Liquid, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Shopify APIs • Experience with Shopify theme customization, app integrations, and custom section builds • Proven track record of driving measurable eCommerce conversion rate improvements • Strong understanding of website performance optimization and Core Web Vitals • Ability to independently run A/B tests, analyze results, and iterate • Detail-oriented with clean, organized coding practices • Proactive, driven, and ownership-focused; able to work without constant oversight • Experience with Klaviyo, Google Analytics, and heatmapping tools such as Clarity, Hotjar, or Lucky Orange preferred • Familiarity with headless Shopify setups or Shopify Hydrogen preferred • UI/UX design skills or ability to collaborate closely with design teams preferred • Experience in an eCommerce growth marketing environment preferred • Resume, portfolio, and short note about a favorite CRO project required for application • Willingness to complete a code challenge and CRO scenario review • Portfolio availability requested • Willingness to work on EST/PST hours requested
