📋 Description

• Push a variety of animal issues in the media and the public consciousness through creative work, outreach, and project coordination • Conduct research and analysis on campaign targets • Develop and coordinate a wide variety of projects for PETA’s campaigns • Draft letters and other documents to support PETA’s campaigns • Analyze the success of campaign efforts and adjust strategy accordingly • Participate in brainstorming and assist with strategizing • Support campaigns by handling administrative responsibilities of the division, including scheduling meetings, liaising between departments, and taking notes • Build subject matter expertise in common animal liberation issues • Keep informed about local, national, and international news stories and track stories relevant to campaigns • Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor

🎯 Requirements

• College degree or equivalent experience • Proven excellent organizational skills and attention to detail • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills • Previous project- or campaign-management experience • Thorough knowledge of animal liberation issues and PETA campaigns • Demonstrated ability to think critically and creatively • Proven ability to take initiative and follow through • Demonstrated excellent research and analytical skills • Proven ability to communicate with a variety of people in a professional and personable manner • Comfort in a fast-paced work environment • Demonstrated ability to multitask, work with minimal direct oversight, and meet deadlines • Professional appearance and adherence to a healthy vegan lifestyle • Support for PETA's philosophy and the ability to professionally advocate PETA's positions on issues • Commitment to the objectives of the organization
