📋 Description

• Phantom is revolutionizing the way millions of people interact with the crypto ecosystem; provides a self-custodial wallet across Solana, Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Polygon. • Lead and grow the design team; provide strategic design leadership across product areas. • Manage, mentor, and scale a team of high-performing product designers; champion design excellence, accessibility, and simplicity. • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Executive leadership to shape product roadmap and user journeys. • Elevate design systems and operational processes to ensure consistency, quality, and scalability. • Foster a culture of user-centered thinking, rapid iteration, and cross-team collaboration. • Represent design in company-wide initiatives, executive reviews, and external engagements.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of product design experience • Experience building and managing design teams • Track record of designing and shipping high-quality, mobile-first consumer products for millions of users at scale. • Proven experience owning and leading the design of core product flows, not just auxiliary or supporting features. • Strong product judgment and strategic thinking, with the ability to make design decisions that balance user needs with business goals. • Extensive experience using data to inform and validate design decisions, including leveraging user research, analytics, and experimentation. • Deep understanding of design systems, interaction design, and visual storytelling. • Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills. • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on design work when needed. • Passion for mentoring and developing designers at all levels. • Experience in crypto, a crypto-native mindset or demonstrated interest in decentralized ecosystems.
