📋 Description

• Lead, hire, mentor, and support a high-performing software engineering team • Foster an inclusive, collaborative, and high-performing team environment • Lead sprint planning and execution to deliver high-quality, scalable software • Ensure software meets business, customer, security, and technical requirements • Champion responsible adoption of AI-assisted, agentic development tools • Establish practices for validating and safely incorporating AI-generated code and technical recommendations • Build, maintain, and evolve AI-powered VoiceAI solutions • Implement required functionality and write technical documentation • Participate in design reviews • Maintain software quality and security standards • Manage bug fixes, product maintenance, production support, and customer escalations throughout the product lifecycle • Review code through pull requests and support CI/CD practices • Continuously improve engineering processes, software quality, and team effectiveness • Collaborate with Product Management, Architecture, Engineering, and cross-functional stakeholders • Occasional travel within the United States and Canada for internal and external meetings

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline required • 8+ years of experience building and supporting highly distributed software applications • 3+ years of people management experience leading software engineering teams • 3+ years of project management experience delivering successful software releases • Deep experience with Microsoft .NET (C#) or Java • Experience designing, building, or integrating Voice AI agents and LLM-powered workflows into production systems • Experience using AI-assisted development tools, including coding assistants, AI-powered testing, documentation generation, or code generation tools • Experience establishing practices for reviewing, validating, and safely incorporating AI-generated code • Experience with MySQL, DynamoDB, cloud-native architectures, RESTful APIs, and CI/CD pipelines • Experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and React or Angular • Experience deploying and operating distributed systems on AWS • Experience managing contractors and external vendors • Excellent technical and non-technical communication skills • Role is remote in Canada, aligned to EST or CST
