📋 Description
• Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines integrating multiple data sources. • Develop and optimize data warehouses, lakehouses, and analytical data models for performance and reliability. • Collaborate closely with data analysts, product managers, and software engineers to model business requirements, automate reporting, and support advanced analytics initiatives. • Implement and maintain data quality, consistency, lineage, and monitoring solutions. • Assess, select, and implement appropriate data engineering technologies and tools (cloud services, orchestration, warehousing solutions). • Ensure best practices in data security, compliance, and governance. • Document architecture, workflows, and processes, promoting knowledge sharing and transparency across teams. • Participate in code reviews, proactively identifying opportunities for performance and scalability improvements. • Contribute to a dynamic, collaborative, and supportive engineering culture that values continuous improvement and learning.
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, or equivalent experience. • Proven professional experience as a Data Engineer, Data Platform Engineer, or similar role within a SaaS, cloud, or data-driven environment. • Strong skills in SQL, relational and non-relational databases (PostgreSQL, BigQuery, Snowflake, MongoDB, or similar). • Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python or Scala, with demonstrated experience in data processing and automation. • Experience building, deploying, and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines using modern frameworks and tools (Airflow, dbt, Luigi, Dataflow). • Familiarity with cloud-based data solutions (AWS, GCP, Azure) and related storage, compute, and orchestration services. • Understanding of data modeling, data quality, and data governance best practices. • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. • Collaborative mindset and a passion for delivering high-quality, impactful solutions. • Fluency in English (written and verbal) required. Spanish or Portuguese skills are a plus.
