📋 Description

• Support the end-to-end fraud rule lifecycle, including proposal, analysis, testing, deployment, monitoring, tuning, and rollback • Work directly in or closely with decisioning tools and rule engines supporting fraud detection logic • Analyse fraud patterns, alert trends, false positives, false negatives, and rule performance • Translate FraudOps insights and stakeholder requests into structured rule proposals • Assess whether new rules or threshold changes are justified by data • Monitor post-deployment rule performance and identify required adjustments • Support daily operational requests related to fraud controls while keeping changes traceable and documented • Partner with FraudOps, AML, Product, Engineering, Data, Compliance, and Legal • Maintain documentation covering fraud rules, rationale, expected impact, testing outcomes, and monitoring results • Build repeatable processes and stronger business continuity around fraud decisioning • Improve the speed, resilience, and quality of fraud rule creation, testing, deployment, monitoring, and tuning

🎯 Requirements

• Experience as a Fraud Analyst, Risk Analyst, Fraud Strategy Analyst, Fraud Rules Analyst, Decisioning Analyst, or similar • Hands-on experience with a decisioning tool, fraud rules engine, risk platform, or internal decisioning system • Experience creating, testing, monitoring, or tuning fraud rules, thresholds, scenarios, or risk logic • Strong analytical skills and comfort working with data to assess rule performance and fraud patterns • Good understanding of fraud typologies, especially card fraud, transaction fraud, account misuse, or payment fraud • Ability to balance fraud prevention with customer impact and operational workload • Experience working with false positives and continuous monitoring and tuning of fraud controls • Strong written communication skills, with the ability to explain rule logic, rationale, risks, and expected outcomes clearly • Comfort working cross-functionally with FraudOps, Product, Engineering, Compliance, and Data teams • Structured mindset and appreciation for documentation, traceability, governance, and change control • Experience in fintech, banking, payments, spend management, or regulated financial services • SQL or basic data analysis • Physically based in the selected country with valid right to work • English-language application required • Must not require visa sponsorship
