📋 Description

• Own vulnerability management end to end, covering reporting, triage, mitigation, and long-term application security strategy • Build a structured, risk-ranked remediation approach • Establish company-wide reporting on vulnerability posture • Set and deliver the AppSec roadmap with delivery expectations and accountability • Partner with engineering squads to embed proactive security processes • Scale security coverage through automation and AI • Grow and mentor engineers toward staff-level capability • Support compliance obligations across ISO27001, PCI-DSS, GDPR, and market regulations • Reduce attack surface through technical controls, policy, and AI enablement • Contribute to Cybersecurity initiatives and shape 2027 KPIs • Build trust with engineering squads and shift security culture • Integrate with DevSecOps, SecOps, Risk & Compliance, Privacy, and Legal

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of experience steering application security and wider information security strategy in a compliance-heavy environment • Background as a senior security engineer who moved into management • Technical depth and willingness to remain hands-on • Track record of mentoring and growing engineers • Ability to maintain team accountability without micromanaging • Experience with risk-based vulnerability triage and prioritised remediation • Experience using AI and automation to scale security coverage • Ability to influence engineering squads without formal authority • Comfort in a fast-moving, complex, evolving environment • Exposure to fintech compliance requirements is advantageous • Real application security depth; DevSecOps and platform security backgrounds considered • Valid right to work in the chosen listed country • No visa sponsorship available • Application must be submitted in English
