📋 Description

• Manage operations and business development for the roadway practice in Florida • Lead project pursuits with the Transportation team, Pond leadership, and Marketing team • Exercise Go/No-Go authority on pursuits and assess strategic hiring needs during pursuit phases • Engage with state DOTs and other clients to align service offerings and position Pond as a leader in transportation design services • Oversee day-to-day activities, resource allocation, staffing, and project budgets for the Florida/Georgia Transportation practice • Collaborate with Project Managers and Design Teams to use resources effectively • Review and approve new hires and oversee training, mentoring, and professional development of direct reports • Serve as Senior Design Manager or Senior Project Manager as needed to win opportunities, achieve technical results, and ensure client satisfaction • Manage the roadway practice Quality Assurance Program and contribute to Pond’s industry branding

🎯 Requirements

• B.S. in Civil Engineering or Transportation Engineering • Professional Engineer, P.E. certification is required • 15 - 20 years of transportation/roadway and drainage design experience is preferred • Knowledge of the practical application of engineering principles, practices and techniques • Ability to demonstrate strong organizational, project, and time management skills • Ability to build and maintain excellent interpersonal relationships • Ability to work well within a team environment, positive attitude, multi-task, and self-motivated to produce high-quality work • Ability and desire to learn and grow professionally
