📋 Description

• Provide field-based support to dental practices to ensure regulatory compliance and high-quality patient care • Promote a culture of quality improvement across designated practices • Provide expert advice, training and support on dental compliance, patient safety and quality management • Develop quality policies, strategies and decision-making with the Safety and Quality Manager • Support compliance and quality management software implementation and training • Monitor quality and compliance performance, analyse trends, and support action planning and risk management • Advise Practice Managers on regulatory compliance • Support patient complaint management • Ensure effective incident management, patient feedback processes and internal operational audits • Lead and coordinate internal compliance audits, including site visits, interviews, evidence collection and data analysis • Conduct assurance audits against CQC and other regulatory standards • Prepare practices for regulatory inspections and internal audits • Advise on infection prevention and control, decontamination, radiation protection, sedation, safeguarding, Freedom to Speak Up and GDC standards • Support health and safety requirements, including risk assessments, COSHH and radiation safety • Establish operational audit programmes with Practice Managers • Collate quality-related data for audits, reporting and information requests • Use audit findings to improve quality, compliance and performance

🎯 Requirements

• Experience of compliance within the dental sector • Understanding of quality and compliance requirements, including infection prevention and control, decontamination and radiation safety • Excellent communication, presentation, mediation and negotiation skills • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills • Excellent attention to detail • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including ability to produce clear, concise reports and communications • Ability to interpret complex information and translate it into practical advice and actions • Proactive, can-do attitude and ability to work effectively under pressure • Access to own vehicle • Valid UK driving licence • Willingness to travel across a designated geographical area • Experience working in a multi-site environment (desirable) • GDC registration (desirable) • Relevant Health and Safety qualification (desirable) • Audit qualification (desirable)
