📋 Description

• Gather and document system and business requirements as user stories and use cases • Perform requirements analysis and systems analysis • Facilitate the design and development of software solutions • Assist with software testing and quality assurance processes • Manage stakeholders and elicit requirements • Prepare estimates for business analysis tasks and deliverables • Prepare functional specifications using user stories, acceptance criteria, and use case narration • Translate unique business needs into functional specifications and system solutions • Assist with project schedules and develop status reports • Plan business analysis efforts, including stakeholder analysis, communication planning, and elicitation techniques • Support application scope discussions and control • Facilitate requirements gathering through meetings, interviews, brainstorming, documentation analysis, and other techniques • Support customer meetings to understand client business practices and needs • Document and validate high-level business needs • Document quality attributes, interfaces, and other nonfunctional requirements • Ensure requirements are complete, consistent, concise, comprehensible, traceable, feasible, unambiguous, verifiable, and standards-compliant • Validate requirements with business stakeholders and team members • Manage client relationships and expectations during requirements gathering • Collaborate with stakeholders and team members to develop requirements and translate them into software specifications • Support traceability from high-level business needs through functional validation • Participate in requirements prioritization and decomposition into specifications • Write detailed descriptions of user needs, program functions, and dependencies for application development or modification • Identify and recommend corrections to requirements gaps or deficiencies • Manage changes to baselined requirements through change control processes and tools • Consolidate user stories and user feedback throughout the development cycle • Write and/or review application release documentation • Coordinate stage gate reviews, document packages, and required documentation • Work with developers and testers to ensure requirements are understood and mapped to test scripts • Ensure project teams have clear, consistent, and testable requirements • Support business validation of functionality • Manage documentation for multiple applications and releases across multiple development teams while meeting deadlines • Maintain concurrent project schedules • Develop weekly and monthly status reports • Work for Precise Software Solutions, a technology services company delivering secure digital platforms, infrastructure, and operational IT services to government organizations

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college in Information Systems, Business Administration or related discipline highly preferred • Three plus years of work experience in Information Technology as a Business Analyst and Tester • Experience facilitating meetings with business owners, technical leads, and other stakeholders • Experience working as the Scrum Master for technical team coordination • Experience capturing business needs and developing corresponding functional solutions • Experience developing technical requirements, user stories, and mockups • Experience working with developers and testers to ensure prototype solutions meet expectations • Experience executing detailed tests and test scripts and documenting test results • Experience automating tests as needed using testing tools to support automation, 508 compliance, and performance testing • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools: MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project, MS PowerPoint • Proficient in formal software development life cycle processes • Proficient with JIRA • Demonstrated ability as a driven, self-starter and quick study • Story Creation • Customization • Report Generation • Must be USC/GC/EAD and eligible to obtain government public trust clearance • Preferred: experience in a government environment • Preferred: experience with Appian BPM tool or other BPM tools • Preferred: experience using JIRA and FDA • Preferred: Agile development practices • Preferred: MS Visio
