📋 Description

• Oversee multiple primary data collection projects as project leader and primary client contact • Manage delivery of project components by collaborating with cross-functional staff to ensure high-quality, client-ready deliverables • Lead development of research studies: select study design, data sources, and methodological approaches • Develop analysis plans and perform analyses, including mixed-methods and discrete choice experiments • Perform primary data collection including in-person and web-based interviews and focus groups with patients, caregivers, providers, payers, policymakers, and academic experts • Conduct literature reviews, develop conceptual frameworks, create codebooks, oversee inter-rater reliability, synthesize and interpret data, and create deliverables • Ensure timely delivery and sound financial performance: estimate hours, manage budgets and timelines, identify challenges, and communicate solutions • Proactively manage client expectations, lead client calls, respond to communications, and explain study rationale, methods, and results • Contribute to business development: participate in sales calls and proposal ideation and development • Line management responsibilities: staffing, development plans, and mentoring of direct reports

🎯 Requirements

• 6-8 years of experience, at least one in a consulting environment • Master’s degree in a subject related to health services research (e.g., health economics, public policy, health policy, epidemiology, biostatistics, public health) • Demonstrated proficiency in discrete choice experiments and preference elicitation • Proficiency in qualitative research methods (grounded theory, phenomenology, narrative analysis) • Proficiency in qualitative data management and analysis platforms (e.g., Dedoose, NVivo) • Trained in and demonstrated track record in qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis • Experience with literature reviews, conceptual frameworks, codebook development, inter-rater reliability, data synthesis and interpretation • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Ability to work effectively individually and as part of a diverse team • Strong organizational and time management skills • Willingness and desire to learn and share knowledge • Awareness and understanding of financial performance on projects • Ability to line-manage and mentor direct reports and ensure positive staff wellbeing/team dynamic • Established record of relevant peer-reviewed publications and congress presentations • (Helpful) PhD in related field and exposure to comparative effectiveness, cost-effectiveness, and economic modeling studies
