📋 Description

• Responsibility for financial accounting, reporting and the preparation of financial statements under HGB (German GAAP) with a view to transitioning to IFRS • Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements • Coordination of tax matters in cooperation with external tax advisors • Ensuring accuracy, transparency and compliance across the finance function • Trusted collaboration with auditors, tax advisors, tax authorities, banks and insurers • Building and further developing scalable, integrated finance processes and digital system landscapes (ERP, payment, e‑commerce, BI, automation) • Ensuring efficient and audit‑proof processing of high transaction volumes and complex data flows from D2C sales channels • Implementation and continuous improvement of an internal control system (ICS) • Management of liquidity, cash‑flow planning and optimization of financing • Close coordination with Controlling, Supply Chain and Data & Analytics to ensure end‑to‑end, automated data processes • Leading role in international projects (e.g., ERP rollouts, European expansion)

🎯 Requirements

• Completed degree in business administration with a focus on finance/accounting or an equivalent qualification • At least 10 years of professional experience in finance or accounting, including several years in a leadership role • Experience in high‑growth or international corporate structures, ideally in D2C, FMCG, food, pharma or supplements • Strong knowledge of HGB (German GAAP); IFRS experience is a plus • Deep understanding of tax and regulatory requirements in regulated industries (food, pharma, nutrition) • Proven experience handling large transaction volumes and complex data sets (e.g., e‑commerce, payments, subscription models) • Proficiency in modern ERP and reporting systems • Analytical, data‑driven, with a clear process orientation and pragmatic problem‑solving skills • Demonstrated experience in building structures, teams and internal control systems • Leadership skills, a hands‑on mentality and strong execution capability • Excellent German and English language skills
