📋 Description

• Build internal tools, pipelines, and APIs supporting analytics, product features, and machine learning applications • Design clean, reliable, tested, and maintainable systems that move and transform data at scale • Develop and maintain batch and streaming data pipelines, including CDC pipelines • Work across cloud infrastructure and data systems • Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to make data infrastructure seamless and efficient • Use AWS, relational and non-relational data stores, Snowflake, Python, Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform, dbt, OpenTelemetry, Datadog, CI/CD, automated testing, and containerisation • Participate in code reviews and build clean abstractions • Contribute to a collaborative, remote-first engineering culture

🎯 Requirements

• Strong software engineering fundamentals, including testing, code reviews, and clean abstractions • Proficient in Python and SQL • Comfortable working across infrastructure and data systems • Experience building and maintaining batch and/or streaming data pipelines • Familiarity with modern data warehouses such as Snowflake • Familiarity with transformation tools such as dbt • Comfortable navigating cloud-native ecosystems including AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform • Clear and thoughtful written and verbal communication • Detail-oriented and collaborative • Eager to learn and share • Adaptable and comfortable with ambiguity and shifting priorities • Comfortable testing code in an environment without dedicated testers or QA staff • Must have working rights in the country where based; the application asks candidates to provide work authorization details if sponsorship is required
