âą Act as a strategic thought partner to leadership and product, providing analysis-backed recommendations on pricing, investment, and business strategy decisions âą Define and own core business metrics, including CAC, LTV, churn-adjusted recurring revenue, funnel conversion, and contribution margin âą Build and maintain per-product profitability analysis combining revenue, acquisition cost, and churn-adjusted recurring revenue âą Validate profitability analysis against Finance's manual reconciliation âą Run deep-dive and ad hoc analysis on the customer journey, marketing spend, pricing, and product performance âą Partner with Data Engineering to prioritize data sources and models and define business-reporting data quality and completeness requirements âą Own business reporting accuracy end-to-end by validating metric logic, catching discrepancies, and re-verifying changes âą Maintain reporting in the existing BI tool âą Set and enforce data quality standards, reconciliation checks, sanity thresholds, and metric trust flags âą Prepare and present verified analysis for leadership and cross-functional reviews
âą 3+ years in a business analyst, data analyst, financial analyst, or strategy/analytics role âą Experience ideally in a product-led or subscription business âą Business and strategic judgment âą Strong SQL skills âą Comfort working directly in a modern data stack such as BigQuery and dbt âą Solid grasp of unit economics and profitability concepts, including CAC, LTV, margin, churn-adjusted revenue, and financial metrics âą Experience defining KPIs and metrics from first principles, including documenting definitions and edge cases âą Rigorous, detail-oriented approach to data quality âą Comfort maintaining reporting in an existing BI tool âą Ability to distill complex data into a clear narrative for non-technical, senior stakeholders âą Strong written communication âą Ability to work autonomously in a remote, async environment âą Comfort with ownership, transparency, and a results-driven mindset âą Resume must be submitted in English
