📋 Description

• Identify and solve problems through discovery, definition and design • Shape product strategy and align design decisions with the broader product experience • Help define, monitor and improve the product experience for Prolific users • Contribute to the design system and evolve design processes • Explore solutions to customer and business problems using data-informed design and rapid prototyping • Understand the motivations and behaviours of data collectors, account administrators, integrating developers and participants • Create flows, user journeys and mental models • Produce service maps, wireframes and prototypes • Test and evaluate prototypes and experiments for usability, value and feasibility • Collaborate with product and engineering teams on design solutions and rollout strategies • Communicate design decisions across Prolific and advocate for the role of design • Own the customer experience and satisfaction in the assigned domain

🎯 Requirements

• Long practical experience applying product design principles • Experience with design tools such as Figma • Experience with information architecture and mapping complex systems and business processes • Experience with interface design and a deep understanding of visual and interactive design in dynamic contexts • Comfort with product analytics and A/B or multivariate testing • Experience working in fast-paced environments • Comfort with asynchronous and synchronous working • Systems-thinking ability and curiosity about people’s behaviour • Knowledge of B2B and Enterprise customer needs (even better if) • Knowledge of the AI tooling landscape (even better if) • Knowledge of developer experience, APIs, and common developer tools (even better if) • Proven success in a scale-up environment (even better if) • Knowledge of inclusive design and accessibility (even better if)
