📋 Description

• Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of employment law policies and procedures across the organisation. • Advise senior management and HR teams on complex employment law matters. • Oversee the drafting, negotiation, and review of employment contracts and consultancy agreements. • Monitor and interpret legislative developments in employment law. • Manage the resolution of employment disputes and contractual issues. • Represent the organisation in legal proceedings and negotiations. • Provide strategic input into organisational change projects.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years qualified attorney with significant post-qualification experience in employment and contract law. • Law firm experience preferred. • Proven track record in a senior legal role, ideally within a large or complex organisation. • Knowledge of US employment legislation, case law, and regulatory requirements, with awareness of specific employment legislation as needed. • Extensive experience in drafting and negotiating a wide range of employment and commercial contracts. • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. • Experience in collaborating with external counsel. • Demonstrable ability to provide pragmatic and commercially focused legal advice.
