📋 Description

• Conduct structured assessments of mental and behavioral health and functioning of oncology patients • Develop treatment plans using Protocol’s evidence-based modular treatment approach • Implement treatment modules and assess patient progress to guide care decisions • Maintain a patient registry aligned with Collaborative Care Model requirements • Participate in weekly consultation meetings with Protocol’s consulting psychiatrist • Communicate and collaborate with oncology teams about patient progress and recommendations • Attend care coordination meetings as needed • Maintain a patient caseload targeting 65% patient-facing time • Participate in initial and ongoing training required by Protocol • Use between-session messaging to support patients • Engage in ongoing supervision and department meetings • Maintain or obtain required state licensure • Provide evidence-based mental health treatment to cancer patients via telehealth, including video and phone • Document care and communicate with oncology teams • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Active, unrestricted license to provide mental health treatment in at least one U.S. state preferred; pre-licensed candidates are also accepted • Ability to support patients with different diagnoses, backgrounds, cultures, and acuity levels • Ability to deliver care in a virtual setting • Experience with patients with oncology and/or chronic/serious medical conditions • Experience supporting patients with suicidal ideation and/or trauma • Experience working with the Collaborative Care Model (CoCM) requested in the application form • Plus if certified proficient for practice in Spanish or Mandarin • Master's degree requested in the application form • Ability to maintain licensure in the home state and obtain licensure in other states as requested • Resume required • Ability to work in a U.S. time zone (Pacific, Mountain, Central, or Eastern)
