📋 Description

• Own end-to-end delivery of technology initiatives aligned with business outcomes and strategic priorities • Drive predictable, high-quality delivery through planning, risk management, and proactive issue resolution • Use delivery metrics such as velocity, throughput, cycle time, WIP, and work item age to report delivery health • Collaborate with delivery leadership to share best practices and address systemic challenges • Partner with senior stakeholders to evolve the operating model, governance, and delivery maturity • Influence cross-programme alignment across initiatives • Champion pragmatic Agile practices tailored to team and organisational needs • Coach teams and Product Owners on prioritisation, backlog management, and value-driven delivery • Lead stakeholder engagement and translate delivery risks and progress into actionable narratives • Foster an inclusive, high-performing culture through coaching, hiring, and continuous improvement • Manage workload, deadlines, emerging issues, and shifting business priorities • Work with senior delivery leaders and the Head of Technology Delivery to shape the organisation’s delivery model

🎯 Requirements

• Proven track record delivering complex technology programmes in agile environments • Deep, pragmatic application of Agile frameworks including Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe • Outcome-focused approach with strong accountability and bias for action • Data-driven approach using metrics to track performance and improve delivery • Ability to identify blind spots, challenge assumptions, and drive better decisions • Ability to balance governance and control with agility and pace • Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence senior leaders • Experience in complex delivery ecosystems, including multi-squad environments and third parties • Servant-leadership approach that builds trust, engagement, and team alignment • Highly collaborative approach using tools such as Jira and Confluence • Experience managing third-party suppliers and external delivery partners • Advanced expertise in delivery tooling and reporting platforms, including Jira, Confluence, and modern dashboards • Experience working in scaled Agile environments or large, complex organisations • Exposure to evolving governance models supporting Agile at scale • Experience in healthcare environments or healthcare-related technology programmes is desirable • Applicants must reside in the UK • Occasional travel within the UK may be required
