📋 Description

• Provide technical leadership and guidance to members of the Distribution group • Support the Design Engineering Manager with supervisory and management tasks for a smaller subset of the team • Identify and resolve problems • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to assigned team members • Manage team workloads and coordinate task assignments to maximize staff utilization • Review completed designs and design products for client, industry, regulatory, quality, and consistency compliance • Apply client, industry, and regulatory standards to existing distribution system components • Communicate with internal, client, and regulatory counterparts • Maintain production in a changing environment • Identify and promote training opportunities • Support recruiting through interviews and attendance at college career fairs

🎯 Requirements

• BS Engineering Degree • 6+ years of distribution engineering experience • Knowledge of NESC and other applicable codes and standards • Strong computer skills • Strong communication skills • Willingness to learn and operate client-provided programs and systems • Proven history of successfully attaining results in a production environment • Ability to travel up to 20–25% of the time to client sites, at least once per month, for project and/or marketing meetings
