• The Director of Global Production Platform leads the team to ensure best-in-class platforms. • Develop and implement platform strategies consistent with the company vision. • Outline platform features, functions, and new offerings by creating product roadmaps through gathering VOC. • Collect and analyze feedback from customers to shape requirements, features, and end products. • Represent production and client stakeholders in development meetings. • Monitors platform usage, analyzing trends and addressing needs as they arise. • Research, analyze and propose technology solutions to maintain quality and margin improvement. • Coach, mentor, and develop team members, including assisting recruiting efforts and providing career development planning.
• Bachelor’s degree required. • Professional translation experience or other similar language industry experience preferred. • Minimum of 3 years of responsible leadership experience in management or supervisory positions. • Minimum 5 years’ specific to language services with progressively increasing responsibility in respective field. • Minimum of 5 years’ experience working operationally with CAT tool(s), or proven ability to work in a CAT tool. • Minimum of 3 years’ experience working with machine translation engines, including ability to evaluate effectiveness and deploy as part of the global platform. • Minimum of 3 years’ experience working alongside development and product management to define, develop and deploy internal technology solutions. • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an admin role for a project management system, ideally a translation management system. • Proficiency in business intelligence (BI) reporting and usage. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office. • Proven work experience in product management. • Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product through its lifecycle. • Proven ability to develop product strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management. • Excellent written and oral communication skills, using professional tone and language; tactful and diplomatic with a clear, straightforward, courteous, and cooperative manner when dealing with others. • Detail-oriented, organized, thorough, and accurate, with the ability to work quickly and steadily in a focused manner. • Ability to deal with frequent changes, delays, interruptions, and unexpected events. • Possesses initiative, persistence, ability to problem solve, and enthusiasm for learning. • Strong ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently with minimal supervision. • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and decision-making abilities. • Skilled at working effectively with cross-functional teams. • Willingness to participate in a culture of responsiveness to strengthen relationships and ensure the needs and time of others are met and respected. • Fluent in English. • Fluency in a second language, other than English, a plus.
