• Conduct thorough audits of residential real estate contracts and transactions in accordance with company policies and relevant state laws, with a primary focus on Texas, Florida, and California. • Review and analyze real estate contracts, agreements, and associated documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance. • Collaborate with internal teams, including legal, compliance, and operations, to resolve discrepancies and address audit findings. • Maintain comprehensive records of audit results, track issues, and provide regular reports to management. • Stay up-to-date with changes in real estate laws and regulations in the specified regions and ensure company processes align with legal requirements. • Assist in the development and maintenance of audit protocols, guidelines, and best practices. • Participate in training and mentoring junior audit support staff to ensure consistent and accurate auditing processes. • Provide insights and recommendations for process improvements and risk mitigation strategies. • Liaise with external auditors or regulatory bodies as needed.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in US residential real estate contract auditing and/or transaction management • Proficiency in auditing transaction files in multiple states including some of the following: CA, FL, TX, GA, CO, WA, & OR. • Strong understanding of US real estate laws, regulations, and industry best practices in the specified regions. • Exceptional attention to detail and a naturally meticulous approach. • Proficiency in using auditing software and tools. • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment. • Strong organizational and time-management skills. • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound judgments based on audit findings. • High level of integrity and ethical conduct.
