📋 Description

• Architect and build the next generation of search and recommendation intelligence • Own the full machine learning lifecycle, from ideation and data exploration to model deployment • Lead the end-to-end design, development, and deployment of ranking algorithms and retrieval models • Fine-tune and distill language models for domain-specific semantic search • Implement semantic embedding techniques, including binary, matryoshka, and late interaction models • Architect and implement recommender systems that personalize user experience and drive engagement and content discovery • Collaborate with product managers, software engineers, and data scientists to translate business needs into technical solutions • Research and evaluate emerging trends and academic research in machine learning, NLP, and information retrieval • Prototype new ideas to maintain the company’s competitive edge

🎯 Requirements

• Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related quantitative field • 3+ years of hands-on professional experience building and deploying machine learning models in production, focused on Information Retrieval, Search, or Recommender Systems • Strong programming skills in Python • Familiarity with SQL or other query languages • Deep knowledge of PyTorch or TensorFlow • Experience with Scikit-learn and Hugging Face • Hands-on experience with vector databases • Exceptional quantitative and problem-solving skills • Rigorous statistical and mathematical reasoning applied to complex real-world challenges • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English • Ability to communicate effectively in English in writing and verbally • European legal working status required • Bonus: experience in the financial domain • Bonus: experience with MLOps tools and cloud platforms
