📋 Description
• Manage regulatory licensing and cross-jurisdictional legal structures • Challenge and support commercial deal structuring and negotiation • Ensure compliance across sales, marketing and corporate communications • Advise on legal and regulatory aspects of existing and new products • Handle legal entity governance, new structures, IP protection, and data privacy compliance • Report directly to the COO • Support fund regulation, compliance, commercial structuring, and strategic execution across multiple jurisdictions • Work closely with leadership, team members, and external partners to support institutional-grade operations during global expansion
🎯 Requirements
• 5+ years of legal and operations experience within crypto, asset management or financial services • Appreciation of digital assets and crypto-native legal frameworks • Qualified lawyer or equivalent experience in a senior legal function • Strong understanding of financial regulations across multiple jurisdictions, including FCA, CIMA, SEC, and MiCA • Proven experience managing legal entity structuring, fund governance, and cross-border operations • Hands-on experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts • Familiarity with offshore fund and asset management structures • Experience working with external counsel and regulators • Ability to operate effectively at a fast pace in highly complex and nuanced environments • Strategic mindset and ability to turn commercial opportunities into clear action plans • Proactive, hands-on attitude • Ability to work effectively in lean, high-performance teams • Organised and able to manage multiple concurrent legal and compliance workstreams • Ability to take ownership and project-manage activities from start to finish • Extensive use of AI to improve efficiency • Commitment to innovation and process improvement • Detail-oriented and risk-focused on commercial and reputational matters • Ability to clearly communicate complex legal and regulatory topics • Collaborative team-player
