📋 Description

• Define and drive asset strategy for small molecule clinical programs in oncology and immunology/inflammation • Integrate competitive positioning, mechanistic differentiation, biomarker strategy, and patient segmentation into portfolio decisions • Translate Recursion OS and ClinTech insights into strategic asset advantages • Develop and pressure-test competitive narratives for portfolio assets • Build evidence bases informing leadership decisions, partnering discussions, and investor communications • Partner with clinical development, business development, finance, and platform leaders on resource allocation • Raise the bar on advancing, differentiating, and delivering assets to patients • Operate as a senior strategic partner across Clinical Development, Discovery, ClinTech, Platform, and BD

🎯 Requirements

• PhD in life sciences or related scientific discipline with deep expertise in drug discovery and development required • 10+ years of biotech/pharma experience with a proven track record of asset-level strategic leadership and advancing programs through clinical stage-gates • Deep expertise in developing small molecule therapeutics for oncology and immunology/inflammation required • Expertise in rare disease is a bonus • Experience leveraging computational approaches and data-driven platforms for asset strategy and clinical decision-making • Ability to build and articulate strategic and competitive cases for clinical assets, integrating mechanistic differentiation, competitive dynamics, regulatory and market considerations • Strong financial acumen for cross-functional resourcing, asset valuation, and portfolio trade-offs • Exceptional executive presence and ability to present recommendations to senior leadership and external partners
