📋 Description

• Lead preparation, analysis, and interpretation of financial information for Real Estate and Facility departments • Synthesize complex financial data into actionable insights and recommendations for senior leadership • Drive accountability through data, analytics, and performance measurement • Balance cost management with service quality and asset preservation • Perform financial analysis and reporting while leading a team • Establish, maintain, and continuously improve financial systems, processes, and procedures • Manage the annual budget cycle for 600 facilities • Develop multi-year forecasts and perform monthly variance-to-budget analysis • Support capital planning and effective control environments • Partner with centralized Real Estate, decentralized Facility Management, business units, Sustainability, and Finance stakeholders in a matrixed organization • Evaluate emerging tools and technologies to improve financial efficiency • Design, build, and maintain financial data models using tools such as Power BI, Power Pivot, SQL, and Python • Analyze building-by-building expense performance, identify cost outliers, and drive facility operating cost efficiency

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or Real Estate preferred • Minimum of five years of progressively responsible accounting or financial management and analysis experience • Experience in Real Estate and/or Facility Management • Strong financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and analytical skills • Advanced proficiency with Excel and financial reporting tools • Experience supporting operational business functions in a complex, multi-site environment • Proven record of continuous improvement initiatives focused on operational efficiency, cost reduction, and service quality • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills • Minimum of three years in a supervisory (people manager) role • Experience using large-scale automated financial systems (Oracle), Hyperion, CFS Business Objects (Webi), MS Excel and Power Query, BI, and Pivot • MBA, CPA, CMA, or other relevant professional certification preferred • Experience supporting facility management, corporate real estate, healthcare facilities, manufacturing facilities, higher education, government, or large campus environments preferred • Experience with IWMS, CMMS, and asset management programs preferred • Experience with Microsoft Power tools, SQL, Python, or similar data intelligence tools preferred • Knowledge of lease accounting standards and capital project accounting preferred • Experience with facility portfolio financial management, occupancy costs, operational budgets, maintenance program evaluation, facility KPIs and benchmarking, energy management, sustainability-related financial analysis, condition assessments, capital investment planning, TCO and ROI evaluations, and industry standards such as IFMA, BOMA, and CoreNet Global preferred
