📋 Description

• Review content briefs and strategic outlines; pressure-test keyword strategy, audience targeting, funnel logic, and proposed angle before writing. • Review drafts for strategic alignment: assess persona resonance, CTA logic, and search intent fulfillment. • Perform rigorous line and copy editing to refine clarity, flow, tone, and persuasiveness; sharpen arguments and amplify hooks. • Mentor writers by providing clear, constructive, and actionable feedback beyond grammar. • Maintain and enforce editorial style guides, brand voice principles, and quality benchmarks; act as ultimate owner of content quality. • Partner with writers and strategists to elevate content strategically and ensure measurable client outcomes.

🎯 Requirements

• Extensive Editing Experience: 5-7+ years in a senior content role, with a heavy emphasis on editing strategic marketing content (SEO, PPC, email, landing pages) in an agency or fast-paced tech environment. • A Strategist's Mind: deep, instinctual understanding of digital marketing strategy, conversion funnels, and user psychology. • Deep Domain Expertise: fluent in the principles of SEO, email marketing, PPC, and UX-centric copywriting. • Diplomatic and Direct: ability to deliver critical feedback that is direct, insightful, and empowering. • Unwavering Standards: meticulous and detail-obsessed with a high bar for quality. • Proactive Ownership: willingness to own every piece of content and uphold standards under pressure.
