• Responsible for new insurance account production and sales activities within assigned accounts. • Conducts research in the market and develops a client base for insurance services. • Maintains and services a profitable book of insurance business for existing clients. • Projects a professional company image through all interactions with clients and others. • Listens attentively to client needs and makes recommendations. • Designs custom insurance plans for clients and surveys loss exposures. • Assures clients are educated on payment expectations and cancellation procedures. • Participates in insurance marketing events and prepares various reports.
• Property and Casualty Insurance License and/or Personal Lines Insurance License is required and must be maintained. • College degree in Sales, Marketing, Business or other relevant discipline preferred. • 3 to 5 years’ sales experience in the insurance industry is preferred. • Experience working with complex personal lines coverage. • Proficient skills in Microsoft Office (primarily Excel, PowerPoint and Word). • Must be computer literate with the ability to learn new software applications. • Must have a valid driver’s license, the ability to travel to client sites and a reliable source of transportation.
