• Remotebase is more than just a job search platform - we're building a remote work community where you can thrive and succeed. • We connect top tech talent with top clients and make it easy for you to find the job you want. • We are seeking a talented Node.js Developer to join our growing team. • As a Node.js Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining server-side applications that power our internal and client-facing platforms. • You will be collaborating with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. • Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain scalable server-side applications using Node.js. • Implement RESTful APIs to facilitate communication between the front end and back end. • Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize. • The project aims to create an approval workflow specifically designed for policy and governance management. • It will feature customizable templates that help users, such as companies, avoid starting from scratch when creating documents. • The process begins with a pre-built policy template that contains standard sections. • Users can choose to add, remove, or create additional sections according to their needs. • Once the structure is in place, the next step is content population. • The AI will assist in generating the content, making it easy for clients to fill in their required details. • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards. • Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our tech stack is modern and robust.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Node.js development. • Proficient in JavaScript and familiar with ES6 standards. • Experience with server-side frameworks such as Express.js. • Solid understanding of database systems, both SQL and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, PostgreSQL). • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and API design best practices. • Experience working with AI (LLM'S, Langchain etc) • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git). • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly and effectively. • Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment.
