📋 Description
• Support execution of private sector development consulting projects and deliver on project milestones. • Help develop and facilitate Renew Capital’s gender-smart programs by training, coaching and supporting small businesses. • Prepare project reports demonstrating Renew Capital’s social impact results. • Report to and collaborate with Renew Capital’s management team to improve SOPs and project delivery efficiency. • Assist with in-country administrative and operational work as needed. • Create relationships with startups, development organizations, government agencies and private sector partners in Tanzania. • Represent Renew Capital at events and educate stakeholders about the blended finance model. • Host learning events for key stakeholders and develop recommendations for revenue-generating initiatives to build a sustainable country office. • Support business intelligence in sourcing, researching, and contributing to proposals for consulting work in Tanzania. • Source potential companies in Tanzania for Renew Capital’s investment pipeline and process leads in Hubspot. • Perform financial and investment due diligence and assist in deal selection, negotiation and execution. • Present opportunities to Renew Capital’s angel network and introduce entrepreneurs via members’ calls and blogs.
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business administration or finance. • 4 to 6 years of experience in an investment environment. • Strong background in project management, entrepreneurship and/or investment work. • Comfortable operating in an extremely adaptive and fast-paced environment. • Emotionally intelligent, patient and excellent communicator. • Proficiency in English. • Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills. • Experience performing financial and investment due diligence. • Experience with CRM systems (Hubspot) and lead processing. • Ability to meet project deadlines and achieve or exceed results in collaboration with teams. • Familiarity with sourcing and evaluating investment opportunities and deal execution. • Authorization to work in Tanzania (application asks about visa status).
