📋 Description

• Work with our data stack: Python (Pandas to NLTK), Postgres, Looker, dbt, AWS, etc. • Serve as the main technical liaison between Reserv and our largest customers • Ship reporting code and build ML tools that solve for our customers needs • Help translate the core lifecycle of a claim into structured data and partner with the product ops team to incorporate low drag data collection into the claim lifecycle • Communicate ideas and specifications through detailed, precise writing • Influence the culture, values, and processes of a growing engineering team • Enjoy and have fun being creative and thinking outside of the box. You will need to draw on analogous situations you’ve worked on before, but we are not traversing well-traveled roads. “Where we’re going, we don’t need roads!”

🎯 Requirements

• 6-8 years of experience as an individual contributor with experience using modern analytics and programming languages with an emphasis on statistical analysis. • Strong proficiency in SQL (e.g., Postgres, BigQuery, or Snowflake) and experience working with large, structured datasets. • A proven ability to interface with high value customers and communicate with both technical and non technical audiences in a fast-paced environment. • Have a strong demonstrated toolkit to build robust and performant models. • Have a proven track record of shipping high quality data analysis at a high cadence. • Able to think through customer requirements and prioritize what is a must-have, nice-to-have, or irrelevant. • Have a strong technical skillset but also the willingness and ability to take over tasks outside your core competency.
