📋 Description

• This is a remote position. • Field CTO – Localization Location: Bay Area, Seattle, or Austin (with travel to client sites and global events) • Contract Type: Full-time, individual contributor • Reports To: Head of Localization • As Field CTO – Localization, you will be the strategic and technical linchpin in shaping and executing AI-driven localization solutions for some of the world’s most recognized global brands. • You’ll work side-by-side with client-facing teams and production leaders to design, present, and evolve intelligent globalization strategies that blend cutting-edge language AI with practical delivery excellence. • This is a high-impact, client-centric role — ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of innovation, consulting, and execution. • If you're passionate about localization technology and want to shape the future of how global content is created and delivered, this role is built for you.

🎯 Requirements

• A deep understanding of AI-based localization and translation technology • Proven experience designing end-to-end globalization solutions for large-scale clients • A history of influencing technical strategy without direct management responsibility • Excellent communication and collaboration skills — you translate complexity into clarity • Familiarity with TMS/CAT tools, machine translation engines, and automation frameworks • Experience in pre-sales and strategic consulting for enterprise clients • A passion for staying ahead of the curve in AI, NLP, and language data technologies • A global mindset and willingness to travel internationally
