📋 Description

• Lead and coordinate refractory product trials and evaluations at customer facilities • Partner with customers and commercial teams to optimize refractory performance and troubleshoot challenges • Deliver technical training programs for sales teams and customers • Collaborate with R&D on product development and continuous improvement initiatives • Recommend refractory materials and lining designs based on customer requirements • Support Operations, product transfer initiatives, and sustainability goals • Travel extensively throughout Canada to support customers and projects

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Ceramic Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline • Advanced degree preferred • 5+ years of experience in refractories, ironmaking, or related steel industry applications • Strong understanding of refractory technologies and steelmaking processes • Ability to work safely in heavy industrial environments and follow OSHA requirements • Mechanical aptitude and field support experience • Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills • Advanced Microsoft 365 skills • SAP experience is a plus
