📋 Description
• Maintain and optimize an ETL project (Python, DBT, cloud-based data workflows) • Develop new data models, transformations, and analytics features • Work with data scientists, analysts, and product managers to deliver reliable data • Ensure data quality, integrity, and security • Troubleshoot data ingestion, transformation, and delivery issues • Contribute to documentation and best practices • Stay current with industry trends in data engineering and healthcare tech
🎯 Requirements
• 3+ years in data engineering or similar roles • Strong Python and SQL skills • Experience with dbt for data modeling • Familiarity with cloud data warehouses (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake) and ETL/ELT • Experience with Git and collaborative development • Ability to work independently in a remote team • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills • (Preferred) Healthcare experience (HIPAA, GDPR) • (Preferred) Familiarity with Dagster or Airflow • Bonus Points For Experience with data visualization tools (Looker, Tableau) • Familiarity with Docker • Knowledge of data privacy and security • Experience with healthcare data standards (FHIR, HL7)
