📋 Description

• Serve as the first dedicated engineer for Rightway's commercial organization • Architect and build tooling, automation, and AI for commercial teams • Own and extend Salesforce and the broader commercial systems stack • Connect commercial tools and build custom tooling and integrations using Apex, Lightning/LWC, and APIs • Improve commercial data quality, consistency, and reliability through automations, controls, standards, and pipelines • Feed commercial data into the company's central warehouse and partner with Data & Insights • Build automation and AI tools such as deal briefs, finalist preparation, renewal-risk alerts, and AI agents for at-risk deals and next steps • Potentially mentor and manage a team member and help shape the commercial engineering function

🎯 Requirements

• Deeply experienced in Salesforce (5+ years), including at least 3 years writing Apex in production • Salesforce certifications: Platform Developer I/II and Administrator • Experience owning a production integration between Salesforce and an external system • Experience shipping Lightning Web Components used daily by a sales or client success team • Experience shipping an AI-powered tool used by a business team • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and building from scratch in a fast-paced environment • Comfortable owning sandboxes, version control, and deployments • Experience with Salesforce, Apex, Lightning/LWC, APIs, automations, controls, standards, pipelines, data warehouses, and modern data/BI tooling • Ability to partner with non-technical teams and translate business needs into working solutions • Clear communication of complex systems • Experience in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, or Commercial Systems engineering is extra credit • Rightway is an Equal Opportunity Employer; employment decisions are based on merit, qualifications, need, and performance
