📋 Description

• Lead complex renewal analyses across all lines of coverage, including non‑marketed and negotiated plans. • Evaluate claims experience, utilization trends, and financial performance to identify risks, opportunities, and cost drivers. • Develop strategic, data‑driven recommendations that support long‑term benefits planning and funding strategies. • Lead the development and execution of Request for Proposal (RFP) processes for assigned clients. • Analyze and compare carrier proposals, identifying competitive positioning and financial impact. • Develop and deliver advanced financial and management reporting (scheduled and ad hoc). • Present renewal analyses, performance results, and recommendations to client staff, committees, and leadership groups. • Partner with the Benefits Consultants in the strategic planning and design of client benefit programs. • Review and interpret compliance requirements including 112.08 filings, OPEB reporting, and imputed income analysis. • Create financial reports for all funding arrangements, including fully insured and self‑funded plans. • Provide guidance and mentorship to Analysts on financial modeling, reporting standards, and analytical techniques. • Collaborate with Client Services, Consultants, carriers, and vendors to ensure aligned execution and client outcomes.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Economics, Business Administration, Public Health, or a related field. • 5+ years of experience in employee benefits, analytics, brokerage, or consulting. • Advanced experience with: Renewal and financial analysis • Claims and utilization reporting • RFP development and carrier evaluations • Strong knowledge of: Fully insured and self‑funded benefit plans • Employee benefits regulations (ACA, COBRA, etc.) • Public sector experience preferred • Active State issued 2-15 License
