📋 Description

• Administer production PostgreSQL and MySQL databases (cloud and on-premise) • Monitor performance, implement failover strategies, and manage access/security • Design infrastructure using Terraform and automate configurations with Ansible • Implement auto-failover, DNS management, and load balancing to ensure high availability • Work with internal product and data teams on scaling, optimization, and migrations • Maintain Linux servers hosting database environments • Support CI/CD practices and routine database automation • Participate in on-call rotations and incident response for database systems

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience as a DBA, especially with PostgreSQL and MySQL • Solid Linux administration experience • Experience with Terraform, Ansible, and scripting (Python/Bash) • Familiarity with Prometheus, Grafana, and monitoring tooling • Understanding of DNS, load balancing, failover setups • Comfortable working independently in a globally distributed team • Fluent English communication skills (B2+ level)
