📋 Description

• Serve as the dedicated FP&A partner for leaders across Engineering, Product, Quantitative and Decision Sciences, and Business Development • Build trusted relationships and provide financial guidance supporting business decisions • Lead financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and variance analysis for supported departments • Provide visibility into financial performance, risks, opportunities, and key business drivers • Translate business priorities into financial plans, resource allocation recommendations, and measurable operating targets • Manage acquisition spend, track spend performance, monitor LTV/CAC trends, and evaluate acquisition efficiency and investment effectiveness • Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting, acquisition spend analysis, headcount planning, vendor and investment decisions, and strategic planning • Lead and support governance and enhancement of the FP&A team's Anaplan tool • Deliver actionable insights on budget performance, forecast changes, and operational trends • Support annual planning by analyzing investments, strategic initiatives, and resource allocation options • Conduct ad hoc analyses of strategic initiatives, operating tradeoffs, growth opportunities, and performance improvement opportunities • Prepare financial reporting and executive-ready materials • Improve FP&A processes, reporting tools, and planning practices

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, strategic finance, investment banking, consulting, or a related analytical finance function • A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, Data Analytics, or another quantitative field • Experience with Anaplan as an Enterprise Performance Management software required • Preferred experience as an Anaplan administrator • Experience in P&C insurance strongly preferred • Experience supporting Engineering, Business Development, and Marketing organizations preferred • Advanced Microsoft Office and Google Workspace skills required • Experience partnering with cross-functional leaders, preferably within Product, Engineering, Growth, Business Development, Data Science, or similarly complex operating teams • Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, reporting, variance analysis, headcount planning, and investment evaluation • Familiarity with acquisition spend, growth investment analysis, unit economics, LTV/CAC, or marketing efficiency metrics • Strong business judgment and comfort evaluating tradeoffs, prioritization decisions, and investment opportunities in ambiguous or evolving situations • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills • Candidates must be on camera for virtual interviews
