• Manage Supplier Quality & Development processes and projects as an individual contributor • Manage supplier quality performance through prevention, monitoring/escalation, and nonconforming-material submission processes • Support supplier onboarding and qualification/certification • Manage source inspection and material release processes • Perform escape management, drive root cause analysis and problem solving, and recommend corrective and preventive actions • Support RTX supplier programs, including Supplier Gold and RTX ZERO, to drive continuous improvement and sustainability • Provide expertise and recommendations on supplier qualification, assessment, monitoring, escape management, and quality issue resolution • Analyze quality data and develop supplier-specific corrective actions and quality initiative strategies • Guide root cause analysis using Red-X and 8D methodologies • Develop corrective and preventive actions for systemic supplier process and product design problems • Implement PFMEA, MSA, Process Flow, Control Plans, SPC, and related proactive quality tools • Manage supplier qualification, source inspection, material release, Corrective Action Boards, and DQ Clinics • Review supplier readiness for work transfers and process changes, including Resourcing Gate and PPAP acceptance under AS9145 and Collins processes • Monitor supplier performance through KPIs, audits, assessments, recovery plans, CID management, and industrial risk management • Manage escape events, NoEs, SRIs, FAIs, LAIs, deviations/concessions, and recovery plans • Manage relationships and improvement actions with IPT leaders, programs, assembly lines, suppliers, and other stakeholders • Travel to supplier sites up to 50%
• University degree and minimum 8 years of prior relevant experience, or advanced degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience • 8+ years of professional experience combining shop floor Quality support and supply chain operations • Strong background in electronics manufacturing, including components, CCAs, PWBs, and harnesses • Knowledge of AS9100 and/or ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems • Knowledge of AS9145 Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) • Knowledge of NADCAP Electronics Manufacturing special process requirements • Knowledge of ANSI ESD S.20.20 QMS • Auditing/assessing experience • Risk management and continuous improvement experience, including Lean Six Sigma • PFMEA, Control Plan, and Measurement Systems Analysis creation and evaluation experience • Experience assessing supplier manufacturing and supply chain process maturity and robustness • Experience monitoring and analyzing supplier performance through KPIs, audits, assessments, recovery plans, CID, and industrial risk management • Experience managing escape events, NoEs, SRIs, FAIs, LAIs, deviations/concessions, and recovery plans • Experience managing relationships with IPT leaders, programs, assembly lines, and suppliers • Must be able to travel up to 50% to supplier sites • U.S. citizenship is required; only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, industrial engineering, or a similar field
